Abstract

The context surrounding contemporary sciences, advocating the initiative for the construction of integrative objects in research, especially in the field of mental health, based on a perspective of the axiom of complexity, exposes us to a challenge to the prevailing classical logic in the hegemonic view of scientific endeavor. The aim of this research is to identify the relationship between psychoanalysis and transdisciplinarity. A systematic literature review of scientific articles published between 2012 and 2022 on the SciELO, PePSIC, and Google Scholar platforms was conducted. Five articles were selected and analyzed, seeking to explore the possibilities and challenges for psychoanalytic theory, both from an academic and clinical perspective, in establishing connections with other disciplines. We question the feasibility of a mediating space where psychoanalysis can not only facilitate the crossing of boundaries between these diverse fields of knowledge but also traverse and allow its traversal by new insights.
