Objective: To analyze the follow-up of newborns at risk from the perspective of professionals, managers and mothers. Method: Descriptive study with a qualitative approach, developed in a teaching hospital, through semi-structured interviews with a manager, four health professionals and nine mothers of at-risk newborns. The results were subjected to analysis of content. Results: The data were organized into two categories: “The (dis)continuity of care for newborns at risk” and “Satisfaction with care”. Final considerations: The follow-up of newborns at risk in the analyzed outpatient clinic requires the organization and implementation of flows to organize care and meet demand, in addition to coordination between services of the health care network.
