Abstract

Objective: Build, validate and apply four practical clinical simulation scenarios to care for Leprosy cases and their social and household contacts. Method: This is a methodological research, aimed at training students and health professionals, which was divided into three stages: The first consisted of the development of four clinical simulation scenarios through a literature review. In the second, intended for validation, eleven judges evaluated each item of the scenarios regarding practicality, relevance and pertinence, with addendum for suggestions. In the third, after being validated, the scenarios were applied to students and health professionals. Results: The four scenarios developed: Upper Limbs, Lower Limbs, Diagnostic Suspicion and Classification in Leprosy and Thermal, Tactile and Painful Sensitivity presented satisfactory averages, above 0.90, in the Content Validity Index. The application was carried out with previously trained evaluators and actors and each participant went through the four stations. Conclusion: The practical scenarios demonstrated significant pertinence, clarity and relevance in the last two stages, therefore they tend to contribute positively to the training and improvement of professionals and students in health institutions.
