Simulação realística no ensino da enfermagem: aplicação da escala de experiência com o Debriefing

Abstract

Objective: to evaluate the debriefing of a simulation in undergraduate nursing education using the Debriefing Experience Scale. Method: This is an exploratory, descriptive study, with a quantitative approach. Data collection took place in May 2024 and was carried out in the Clinical Simulation Laboratory of a public university. 40 students from the sixth semester of the undergraduate course participated.  The research instrument was structured on a Likert scale, from 1 to 5, ranging from “I completely disagree with the statement” to “5. I completely agree with the statement.” Results: The results obtained an average of 4.62 in the Likert scale indices with a standard deviation of ±0.526. The debriefing was considered satisfactory and positive by all students involved in the simulation. Conclusions: this study showed a positive perception of undergraduate students regarding the use of debriefing in High Fidelity Simulation.
